Choice in Services

A meaningful ceremony will help you memorialize your loved one. Whether choosing burial or cremation our staff assists you in creating a personalized service to honor and remember the one you’ve lost.

Burial vs. Cremation

People choose cremation for many reason, including:

  • Personal or spiritual philosophy
  • Environmental philosophy
  • Simplicity, flexibility, or convenience
  • Greater acceptance now among many religions

Whatever choice you make, family and friends need time to grieve and to say good-bye. Whether burial or cremation we offer the same services, including music and prayers. You can have a viewing and visitation with an open casket for as long or as short a period as you wish. A funeral should be as unique as the life that is being celebrated.

Traditional Full Service Funeral

This type of funeral includes a viewing, visitation, formal funeral service, and the use of a hearse to transport the body to the funeral site and cemetery. It is generally the most expensive type of funeral. For complete details see our traditional full service package and our complete offerings here.

Direct Cremation or Burial

The body is buried or cremated shortly after death, without embalming. The cremated remains are placed in an urn or other container. No viewing or visitation is involved, although a memorial service may be held, with or without the cremated remains present. Direct cremation usually costs less than the full service funeral. For complete details see our direct cremation charges and complete offerings here.
